Well balanced and informative. Clearly no secret that ivermectin is a valuable tool to have in our arsenal. Is there a reliable and safe source you would recommend getting it from? Thanks again for sharing your knowledge Dr. Philips!
Hi, Sorry I'm just seeing your comment now! If it's prescribed by a doctor, then I think what we can pick up in the drugstore is a reliable source. The furor over ivermectin is finally starting to fade a bit, so that's good.
Ivermectin has immunomodulatory effects in addition to its antiviral acitivity. I've had 10 years of experience using it for chronic illness patients before Covid came about.
Thanks for posting this and all the great research. Interesting that ivermectin has prophylactic benefits. I’m wondering if that’s the case with fluoxetine and other drugs in that category when I see/hear about friends getting Covid and their partners (who are taking antidepressants) at best test positive but no symptoms. And on a side note…Fauci has really pissed me off! Didn’t know he took another round of paxovid. Thanks again!
Yes, there's large observational data that the SSRI antidepressants are protective from a mortality standpoint. Because people are on them long term before getting Covid, they can be viewed as being prescribed in a prophylactic manner, albeit unintentional at the time.
I was puzzled that the bar charts showed ivermectin was useful still in late covid. But this is the inflammatory stage, so steroids have been useful at that point, not ivermectin presumably.
GREAT article - shared on my social media to hope raise awareness - had no idea of all these additional benefits. Wow. Thanks so much.
Thanks Deb! It's amazing how hard it is to get a balanced view of controversial topics--Thanks for sharing the post and for your support~
Agree 100% ! It was very beneficial when I had covid.
